The weather was perfect Halloween Night!
We were open from 7pm to about 10:15 (they just kept coming)

Overhead View of the Construction

Friday Nov. 1st was a little different...
It rained all day making the ground wet and muddy.  It stopped raining about 3pm, but everything remained saturated.  So, I laid down some leftover wood and carpet as a pathway.
That worked very well.  No casualties!

The Entrance...
I removed a fence panel to my back yard in order to make an Entry and Exit.

The Foyer...

This is what you see as you enter.  I let in groups of about four, and asked them to proceed straight ahead
to the first wall and then stop.
I then welcomed them to Bloodsworth Manor and gave a little speech.  I used my modified Voice Changer with inexpensive computer speakers.

Here is the back wall I made out of discarded fence pickets.  One man's garbage is another man's prop!
...actual lighting ...with flash

This photo shows the back of the Whisper Room.  I stood right there to give my speech.  I noted on the photo the key items.

Some Hallways...

This is a pic of that same wall above, but this one shows the pathway behind it.  The guests have to walk down two hallways before they get to
the final hallway that leads to the Whisper Room.

The other side...

Misc. pics of the hallway leading to the Whisper Room.  You can see the pics I made last year on the wall.

The Whisper Room...
I'd show you a pic of this room.  However, it would be nothing but PITCH BLACK!
As you enter, you are surrounded by Whispers!!!!!!!!!!!
Special thanks to Jason at www.rustyknife.net for the soundtrack.

I wanted to have an air blast come down from the top, but I ran out of time!

The Whisper Room went over well, because once you got in, you couldn't get out!

First concept...

Actually built...

The Mourner and Corpse...
This is first thing you see as you exit the Whisper Room.
My son Brett.  In the pic, he is yelling RAHHH...

The grave...

  The Corpse with Mourner...

The Vampire Room...
As you exit out of the Mourner area, you come to enter the Vampire Room.  It is a large room with a Vampire scene one one end, and the other end is a Dot Room.

The Vampire automatically stands up and growls using a hacked motion detector with a modified Digital Voice Recorder (DVR).

More pics of the scene...

The Tool Area...
Her is the traditional Trash Can Trauma (TCT) I built last year.

Note the power supply and the air manifold in the background...

The TCT was activated by The Grave Keeper
by looking through the fence on the right.

The Tombstones...

The Grave Keeper uses an air-gun to surprise the guests as they walk by.
Then he guides them into The Hole...........

The Hole...
I built The Hole inside a dog kennel!  Don't worry... I cleaned it.
I put carpet on the floor to make the crawl-through comfortable. hehe

This was very dark, disorienting and claustrophobic.  Stuff hanging down as you crawl...
As you turn the corner it is a DEAD-END!!!
I installed a trap door that the Mad Doctor raises to let them out.  After he teases them of course!!

We had MANY people that did NOT want to go in!  But we made them anyway!!!

The Mad Doctor...
This was the favorite scene!!  Lots of blood and gore...
Still in the kennel. Ryan, as the Mad Doctor... Lots of blood...

Skill Saw as a working prop!
(blade removed)

  The Exit...
You Survived!!

Despite the rain (I had to take more "Vacation" days) slowing down construction,
we had a GREAT night and can't wait till next year!

Special thanks to my wife Bonnie for putting up with my "obsession".
